Happy Birthday Freddie.

Goodbye for now Daniel.

I just learned that you have gone to the Spirit in the Sky.

I am gutted.

So many great memories with you though, going to have to find that picture of you with the bong. Remember that night it was snowing so hard and you were determined to teach me to drive in the snow. Uphill. After we’d been drinking schnapps.

I will never forget that night as long as I live, nor the song that was playing.

Godspeed. I will continue to love you till we meet again.

Webpage Haven

In 1999 and 2000, I actually did some webpage design. And I had also learned how to do gradients and buttons in Photoshop. It is so hysterical to look back at this.

That font, if memory serves, was called Dream Orphans… I cannot recall the go-to website for all the fonts.

Webpage Haven

Ah yes, my webpage for Brendan Fraser. I have such a history for being a FANGIRL for things that just never quite catch on.

Back in the day, and I mean way back in the last millennium, the coolest place on the web was the website of L Jeffrey Zeldman – Jeffrey Zeldman Presents.

I would bury my neophyte self in his Pardon my Icons pages and feel like the entire universe had just opened to me. It was a different time, a wonderful time and I am glad I remember.

I probably saved every single one of these icons for reasons now I cannot really remember. I just remember thinking they were the most brilliant thing I had ever encountered.

Pardon my Icons

You got this.

Written by Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
